WHY IS SMOKING BAD FOR YOU

Smoking is responsible for several diseases, such as cancer, long-term (chronic) respiratory diseases, and heart disease, as well as premature death.Smoking is the largest cause of preventable death in the world. Recent studies have found that smokers can undermine the health of non-smokers in some environments. Lung cancer is one of the most common causes of cancer deaths in the world. If cigarettes and other tobacco products had no nicotine, the number of people who smoke every day would drop drastically.Smoking also worsens heart disease risk factors. It raises blood pressure, makes it harder to do exercise, makes the blood clot more easily than it should. People who have undergone bypass surgery and smoke have a higher risk of recurrent coronary heart disease.

Great groups need a great coach

Some words of wisdom from some great coaches…

  • Greatness starts with great people – coaches know that an excellent system can produce a very good team, but to produce a truly great team you need superb talent
  • Every great group has a strong leader – the leader has to be worthy of the group.  He or she must warrant the respect of people.  Everyone must have complete faith in the leader’s instincts
  • Great groups are optimistic, not realistic – great things are accomplished by talented people who think they will accomplish them.  Optimism doesn’t replace talent, but pessimism will prevent talent from blooming.

Can computers be a substitute of teachers?

It’s a hot issue of nowadays that computers can replace teachers by saying that man is inventing various technologies in order to facilitate himself or to reduce his burden, then why can’t computers be a substitute for teachers. A computer can have more information than a teacher. That means a teacher like anyone can forget things in his domain because he is a busy person and he has a lot of problems to solve and he cannot answer at all students questions, but a computer always have information for the user if the user ask correctly the question and of course if the computer is able to answer the user’s questions that means the memory of the computer should be full of information in the respective domain. In this way a computer could be more helpful than a teacher.
There are three ways to teach: tell someone, show someone or let them do it themselves. With developments in technology children can do it themselves earlier and much quicker. But by this humble piece of writing I just want to make people realize that no matter how vast knowledge a computer can have but it cannot be better than a teacher as man is no better than His creator than how a computer can.

Friendship

Friendship is an important part of life and having strong relationships with people will help keep you healthy and happy. Emily Dickinson is quoted as saying "My friends are my estate." Value your friendships and treat your friends as you would like to be treated and you will be rewarded in having a trustworthy friendship. A friend is there as a shoulder to lean on in hard times and to laugh with during the good times.

A friend loves at all times.Friends can cheer us when we’re sorrowful or depressed. Friends can challenge us when we allow ourselves to get beyond our reasonable boundaries. Friends can motivate us when we’re ready to give in, and they can provide for us when life falls apart. In how many ways have friends enriched our lives and made us feel loved, accepted, respected and cared for? Probably, too many to list, and the list grows daily.

FASHION

Fashion is full of fleeting trends and new designs , and adapting to them to look stylish throughout the year. And every year there are clothes that one stocks up according to what is 'in' that season, and tosses out what's not. But then again there are some styles and trends that stay on, and leave fashion wanting to embrace them a little more. 2013 saw a splash of bold and bright colors, neon pinks, fluorescent green, electric blues, and gave rise to the color blocking trend. Full-on suits became popular in mono-colors and prints. Another super comfy fad was of pajama styled pants, printed pants, oxblood colored dresses, peplums, and, baroque patterns that were found flaunting by people everywhere.
